18-Nov-2001 Mike Seeger
Mike Seeger is one of the most important people in the strong, vibrant revival of American Old Time mountain music. He has passed along a tremendous amount of music to another generation, so the old time tunes still live today. It's been a couple of decades since he's been on the show. He's a wonderful performer, and this time around will be joined by the Original Fat City Stringband. And, yes, he's Pete's half brother.
11-Nov-2001 Pat Humphries

October 2001 28-Oct-2001 Joe LaMay and Sherri Reese, with Genesee Rose

21-Oct-2001 Michael McNevin
It's been way, way too long. Michael McNevin's from California, and we don't get to see him often. He's a songwriter who brings us inside life's tiny stories in a way that almost nobody else can. In an era when most songs are written about relationships, Michael is a well-hidden treasure.
14-Oct-2001 Mike Agranoff
Mike Agranoff Long a Bound for Glory favorite, Mike Agranoff is known for his humorous recitations and dreadful parodies, but he's also top notch at presenting an ancient ballad or an old time gospel song. 09-Sep-2001 Y'ALL
Y'ALL Old Time Country music for the 21st Century. Y'ALL is Jay Byrd and Steven, writing and singing in the styles of the great "Brothers Acts" of the early 20th Century...complete with the Lucky Green Dress. If you don't know Y'ALL, you don't know what's about to hit you. Funny, poignant, and very, very different. Surely a great show.
