Ithaca is the population center of Tompkins County,
centrally isolated in rural New York State
Folkstuff is a newletter serving the Tompkins County music, dance,
and folk community. It is wholly supported by occasional contributor
and reader donations and almost non-existent advertising.
Folkstuff is available at the Ithaca Guitar Works, ABC Cafe,
and through several of the organizations listed in the activities
Folkstuff does not offer subscriptions at the current time.
If you want issues by mail, you can join the Cornell Folk Song Society;
they buy copies and mail them to their members.

The deadline for Articles and Calendar Events is always listed
in the current calendar.
In general, the deadline is the 15th of the month prior
Submissions by Email are preferred.
Plain text, please, not as an attachment, and absolutely nothing
in any format owned or promoted by Micro$oft. We have no software
from the evil empire.
You could try a 3.5" floppy disk; it might work, but our drive
is old and little used. Otherwise, please prepare a typed,
Folkstuff also accepts black and white photographs.
Submitted material becomes the property of Folkstuff and will not
be returned (although we have far too many floppies, and may try

PS: If you listen to BFG, and you hear Uncle Phil
telling you to send Folkstuff stuff to him, well, that's OK,
but it (very) seldom gets published here via that route.
